Bleached Cross is a Chicago-based band known for their blend of dark wave, shoegaze, and atmospheric post-punk. Formed by members who have backgrounds in heavier music, the band includes participants from projects like Frail Body and Crowning. Their music often explores brooding themes, resonating with fans who appreciate intense, contemplative soundscapes.

In August 2024, Bleached Cross released a split LP titled Columns of Impenetrable Light with Philadelphia's The True Faith. The band's side of the record, engineered and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording, features four tracks exploring the stages of grief.
