We are stoked to welcome the band CHICO to NMZ.
CHICO is a California band pulling from hardcore, punk, and rock without really overthinking it. Fast when it needs to be, heavy where it counts, and always carrying hooks that stick. It’s the kind of sound that feels natural, like it was built from what they grew up on but pushed in their own direction.
There’s a rawness to it, but it’s intentional. Nothing polished for the sake of it, nothing forced either. Just solid songwriting with enough grit to keep it grounded and enough melody to keep you rocking.
