Description

LESSER CARE return with their latest effort, "LINCOLN LEATHER", a three-song EP that finds the band at their heaviest, most vulnerable, and most honed-in. Across several releases, the band has continued to refine the sound songwriter and vocalist Dez has envisioned since the project’s earliest days: a band driven by imagery, riffs, and a sense of musical urgency without boundaries.


The EP opens with “EMBRACE,” immediately hitting with hard-charging chugs, crushing riffs, and a driving bass line. “TWO DOWN” keeps the momentum moving, shifting the focus away from sheer heaviness and toward faster instrumentation and a brooding melody that makes it one of LESSER CARE’s most immediate and catchy songs to date.


“LINCOLN LEATHER” closes the EP by pushing the band’s sound somewhere unexpected, blending their established intensity with electronic and hip-hop influences and a streetwear-inspired aesthetic. Together, the three songs capture LESSER CARE at their most focused while continuing to expand the boundaries of what the band can sound like.
