HOLY FIGURES

Holy Figures is a North Carolina–based post-hardcore band operating in the space between weight and atmosphere, melody and restraint. Since forming in the late 2010s, the band has leaned into a sound shaped by tension, repetition, and emotional urgency, drawing from ’90s and early-2000s post-hardcore and alternative rock without falling into nostalgia. Early singles set the tone for what would follow, leading into the "Luck of the Draw" EP and later releases, including 2021’s 'Thanataphobia' sinle, a track that crystallized the band’s fixation on anxiety, mortality, and internal conflict. Their "New Superstitions" EP continued followed this same path, expanding the band’s dynamic range while maintaining a stark, deliberate approach to songwriting. Marked by periods of lineup change, Holy Figures has persisted through instability, remaining active and forward-focused as they continue writing new material that builds on their existing catalog with clarity and intent.
