FAKE EYES

FAKE EYES is an alt-rock/shoegaze-leaning band from North Carolina rooted in ’90s emo, alt-rock, and heavy textures. The band's relationship with NMZ started off with their "Demo 2018" , a pair of tracks that introduced their atmospheric blend of post-hardcore energy and dreamy guitar layers. That early buzz grew with "Promo 2019", especially the track 'Illuminate,' and ultimately led into "A Drip Is All We Know" (2020), a lush four-song EP on NMZ that expanded their sound with nuanced layers, off-cue rhythms, and choral melodies. After building that foundation and evolving their style, FAKE EYES went on to release their debut full-length "Saccharine Scream" on Sunday Drive Records, showcasing a more dynamic, expansive take on their alt/shoegaze roots.
