COLONIAL WOUND

Formed in Florida in 2018, COLONIAL WOUND brought together members of Yashira and the surrounding DIY hardcore scene to create a harsh, noise-driven sound rooted in tension and aggression. Their three-song EP "Degradation", released in 2021, leans into sludgy riffs, punishing rhythms, and confrontational vocals, pulling from noise rock and metallic hardcore influences like Unsane, Deadguy, and Botch. Raw and uncompromising, the EP captures the band at their most direct and abrasive.
